Verify without trusting us
Check it yourself. In your browser.
This page does not ask you to believe the registry: it downloads the proofs and recomputes them here, with WebCrypto and a public-domain verifier. The same code works without this site, on the command line.
Verifier: parcid-verify.js (CC0) · SHA-256, Ed25519, RFC 8785, RFC 6962, OpenTimestamps
This browser does not support Ed25519 in WebCrypto. Try a recent Firefox, Safari or Chrome, or use the command-line verifier.
Verify a PID
We download its inclusion proof (/api/v1/parcels/{PID}/proof) and the registry keys (/.well-known/parcid), and check every record of the unit.
Check in Bitcoin
Optional. It asks a third party, blockstream.info, for the header of the Bitcoin block the proof cites. That request reveals your IP and which block you look at to blockstream.info; it does not send the PID.
Verify a record
Paste the record you kept at enrolment (or the full enrolment response) or upload the JSON file. We recompute its fingerprint and check the registry’s signature.
Verify an export
Upload a daily export (.jsonl.gz). We decompress it here and recompute every day’s Merkle root from the ledger, the signatures, the chain of statements and that no day is missing.
