Services
The registry does not charge for identity. Services that claim something about it are provided by operators, who answer for their result. Today the operator is Know Your Parcel.
Capture → PID + physical signature + sealed record + owner key.
Who uses it: Anyone: stations, phones with SDK, third-party devices, the API.
Planned · phase A
ID → exists, date, class, level, status, lineage and last verified sighting. No personal data or images.
Who uses it: Anyone, by web, QR or API.
Planned · phase A
Validates format and check, normalises and says whether it exists. Does not count as a resolution.
Who uses it: Label readers, forms, agents.
Planned · phase A
Opening, consolidating, splitting or repacking creates child IDs linked to their parents.
Who uses it: Whoever holds the parents’ key.
Planned · phase A
Daily dump of the public part in JSON Lines, with its own signed record. CC0.
Who uses it: Anyone, to verify or build on it.
Planned · phase C
New capture + claimed ID → “it is the same one”, with per-feature score and explanation, sealed as a record.
Who uses it: Forwarders, warehouses, carriers.
Planned · phase B
Asserts that a capture is of a real parcel, made now, by an intact sensor and without injection. Also valid without identity: “this photo is real”.
Who uses it: Insurers, platforms, marketplaces.
Planned · phase B
Two captures or two IDs → same parcel yes or no, score and differences (weight, damage, tape).
Who uses it: Shops (outbound vs return), forwarders, carriers.
Planned · phase B
An unlabelled capture → candidates in the database: lost, stolen or orphan parcels.
Who uses it: Carriers, forwarders, lost property.
Planned · phase D
The opening, consolidation or repacking operation, certified with evidence.
Who uses it: Forwarders and consolidation warehouses.
Planned · phase A
Long-term storage of the raw evidence (images, video, point cloud).
Who uses it: Whoever needs the proof years later.
Operator fees apply to sightings with comparison, liveness, 1:1 and 1:N comparison and custody. Never to enrolment or resolution.
This site publishes no prices: the registry sells nothing. Paid services are contracted by each client with an operator, which sets and publishes its terms.
Passive liveness
In KYC, liveness proves there is a real person in front of the camera. Here it proves the image was not injected or generated, without asking anything of the operator. The output is a sealed claim with a high, medium or low level and its reasons.
Signature of the capture on the sensor itself, monotonic sequence, controlled clock.
Shadows, highlights and depth consistent with a real object under known lighting.
A registry nonce inside the frame, so an old capture is not accepted.
The scale’s weight and the point cloud’s volume match what is seen.
Third-party, as a secondary signal. Never as a verdict.
Comparison
Every comparison returns a score per feature and an overall one, with a threshold calibrated for the pair of capture classes, and explains the differences, including the new damage map. Thresholds come from real data: until then, the service is offered as “in calibration”.
match matchreview to reviewno_match no match: also recorded“Same geometry and weight; the texture of patches A and B matches; the tape is the same; there is new damage on the front face.”
Free tier
The free tier is there so the world can enrol and resolve. Sources with many orphan or inconsistent enrolments are downgraded.
